‘HIV response corner’ is an initiative of India’s ministry of housing and urban poverty alleviation to highlight the relationship between poverty and HIV/AIDS. Apart from basic facts on HIV and its links to poverty it facilitates networking of people living with HIV and provides national data on HIV and AIDS.

A research paper by Happymon Jacob, assistant professor, department of Strategic and Regional Studies, University of Jammu, India, entitled ‘Impact of HIV/AIDS on Governance in Manipur and Nagaland’. The paper is the product of a six-month study aimed at understanding the linkages between HIV/AIDS and governance in India's militancy hit north-east region. The paper has been published by AIDS, Security and Conflict Initiative, a joint programme of Social Science Research Council (SSRC), New York and the Netherlands Institute of International Relations.

Women Ink, a programme of the International Women's Tribune Centre, has compiled a collection of materials entitled ‘HIV/AIDS and Women: Resources to Support Policy and Advocacy.’ The resource pack comprises some 50 action-oriented tools as well as analyses, reports and case studies on issues of women and HIV/AIDS.
